There once was an intelligent fool,
\nWho believed in always playing it safe.<\/p>\n

Why take risks in life,
\nFor this person it was a waste.<\/p>\n

A waste of time and money,
\nAnd efforts too.<\/p>\n

There was absolutely no need,
\nTo impress you, me, or you.<\/p>\n

The one thing this person never realized,
\nWas the self-imposed shelter they were in.<\/p>\n

Because day after day,
\nTrue living would never begin.<\/p>\n

There was never any stretching one\u2019s self,
\nTo see what achievement could be obtained.<\/p>\n

There was never family or children,
\nTo continue family traditions or name.<\/p>\n

There was never any thirst for education,
\nTo learn, progress, and grow.<\/p>\n

There was never any dreams to capture,
\nCause life was only to be so-so.<\/p>\n

There were never any bumps or bruises,
\nRelationship conflicts or pain.<\/p>\n

How can life-like things happen,
\nWhen each day is safe and the same.<\/p>\n

At the height of it all,
\nI\u2019m sure you can now see my friend.<\/p>\n

This intelligent fool\u2019s life never blossomed,
\nBecause it was tied up in knots from beginning to end.<\/p>\n
